Hi!  We are Brent and Mariellen Rosenberry.  We have been blessed with nearly 15 years together.  God has given us four beautiful children, and we are well aware of the challenges that face Christian couples today.  We know how demanding family life is, and that is all a good thing.  Because after all, that is the very most important thing in our lives.  We also realize now more than ever, that with that demand, comes a need for periods of refreshment.  We want to do just that for couples who choose to stay with us.

     For more than ten years, Sweetheart's Country Cottage was nothing more than a dream for us.  We thought how great it would be to have a place to offer to couples where they could come to getaway from the busyness of daily life.  

    And then the door opened for us to do just that, and we began building our cottage in March of 2004.  We were very focused, and spent just about every spare minute trying to get it built.  All summer long, evening after evening, Saturday after Saturday, we worked away at the cottage that was finally beginning to take shape.  On November 13,2004, we welcomed our very first guests. 

    Ever since, we've been pleased to offer our guest the luxury of a place that is so quiet and peaceful.  A place where the two can relax, and connect in a way that is hard to do with all the demands of life. 

  Our goal is to provide the kind of atmosphere where couples can

    draw closer to each other, and closer to God which are both so

important in the time in which we live, where marriages seem to be

                                         so torn apart.
